History Center
Under the direction of Richard E. Cummines, Becks' Philadelphia Brigade Band will perform in full Union Civil War uniforms and play on mostly brass instruments, many of which are authentic antiques from the Civil War era. The music will include pieces written and played before 1865. This program is a collaboration between the Avalon Free Public Library and the Avalon History Center.
